Chhattisgarh Engineering College (CEC) was started in the year of 2009 in Durg, Chattisgarh.The mission of the college is to promote the intellectual development of students by teaching them problem – solving, leadership and teamwork skills. It offers Undergraduate program in 5 streams and admissions will be made through counseling which will be conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh on the basis of CGPET or JEE scores.
Chhattisgarh Engineering College is being established by Durg Education & Charitable Society. Society is successfully running several educational institutes in the field of Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Nursing, Polytechnic, B.Ed, PGDCA,Commerce etc . Society has now also working on vocational training and skill development courses from PMKVY, DDUGKY etc. Society is running educational institutes since 20 years and is having an excellent placement record. Chhattisgarh is fast developing state and there is acute shortage of quality technical man power in the state.
